Beauty in death

Because of a genetic condition, death has always been a close friend. Being aware of my own mortality has drawn me to cemeteries. The stories they hold, the memories they preserve, and the quiet sense of peace they offer. For me these spaces evoke reflection, grief, or calm, depending on how I am feeling at the time. This photographic series explores the unexpected beauty within death that is often overlooked in places that are only thought of as sad.
